Michelle’s Hair & Make Up Shoot Phuket
Michelle and I reunited quite recently when she came to visit me here in Phuket, Thailand.
Our friendship had been lost over life’s natural progressions and we had been been in touch via Facebook.
Michelle came to visit me and we decided at some point it would nice if I gave her a hair and make over with a few shots by me! I‘m no expert at photography at all, I have a great camera and lens (thanks to Mark!) and have learnt a lot from great friends (Gina Smith!)
So one day Michelle and I raided her wardrobe and we put together a little shoot around my garden. Here’s what we came up with. Thanks Michelle, (she really does have a natural talent at modelling!) love you x

One of the best parts of my job as a make up artist & hair designer is meeting people from all different cultures and walks of life.
Today was one of those fantastic days listening to real life stories of how they met their life long partners.
Two trials and two beautiful stories thank you Amber & Diane respectively, I’m excited to be part of your special days over the next week.

Just another day in paradise for beautiful Megan’s wedding.
Megan and I had been writing to each other for over a year, it was so nice to finally meet her today.
What a relaxed beautiful bride she was.
A new website with a new look
Here’s my first official post for my new website! Super excited as it’s taken a little while to do. I’ve just recently got back from Hawaii where I went a little crazy make up shopping thanks to MAC. I finally managed to pick up a few goodies and can’t wait to use them this week.

I’m looking forward to posting updates of my day to day make up, hair & styling life. Low season is here in Phuket but the sun is still shinning and this week I have many many weddings to look forward to.
Hand Painted Butterfly
Just found this beautiful image by the talented photographer Karim Khamzin, with model Kat Felton.
I hand painted this butterfly on Kat, bless she was very patient! I think I used about 1/2 of my wonderful Make Up Store Black Kohl pencil. MAC pigments were then hand painted on and smudged together. Karim shot this stunning image through a window, amazing talent!

A cover for Destinasian Magazine :-)
It’s great to have done another cover, this time I was lucky enough to be involved with the Desinasian cover April/May 2014 with photographer Tom Tavee. We had been assigned to shoot at the new resort Point Yamu. I was taking care of the fashion styling and sourcing, hair & make up for the beautiful Kat Felton. We shot the cover in one day and the weather was spectacular.

The Make Up Store’s Frozen Diamond Fashion Show
Having taken some time off in December to spend time with Mark in Singapore, and various friends’ birthdays etc, I didn’t so much mind working over Christmas a bit on the Make Up Store’s ‘Frozen Diamond’ fashion shows spanning 4 days.
The concepts were amazing and showcased the Make Up Store’s new line of make up fantastically. The shows had such an amazing vibe and buzz about them making it so much fun over the festive period.
The models were great as always and the clothes were fantastic xxx
Giftie’s Beautiful Wedding at the Racha
Having had a trial with lovely Gift, we’d already gotten to know each other and I had such a lovely day getting her ready for her big day. She had her wedding at the stunning Resort The Racha, on Racha Yai Island just off Phuket. She had a beautiful day and opted for a soft up do using her natural hair extensions, with natural curls and natural make up also.
Thanks so much for a lovely day Giftie, and also for your kind words…. “It was such a joy working with Lisa. You can feel her warmth as soon as you meet her. She takes time to go over what you want and what she plans to do and feel your style. I have a birthmark on the nap of my neck that Lisa used the airbrush to cover it and as a foundation on my face, and it came out flawless. It lasted for 12 hrs with lots of crying, laughing and sweating without any touch-up . Picking the right make-up artist is very important and it’s one of the best decision I made. Black Is Back Fashion Show at Da Vinci’s
Yesterday I worked on a huge fashion show here in Phuket, Black is Back at Da Vinci’s in Naiharn. As major sponsors, The Make Up Store provided me with their team of make up artists, as well as the other hair and make up artists I had hired for the job.
The event was an absolute sell out success with designs from 2 leading fashion houses in Bangkok and fashion designers here in Phuket, including Noelle Adam.
I was so happy with the hair and make up concept we had designed for the show, they all came together perfectly with the clothes and designers’ concept and vision.
Thanks to all the models, photographers, sponsors and guests for making the event such a fantastic one!xxx
