Kylie’s Beach Wedding and the Lovely Ladies from Oz!

[slideshow]We had such a fun day with Kylie and her lovely family and friends from Brisbane!!

We did full on Manicures, Pedicures, Hair and Make Up to beautify all the lovely ladies at a roof top Spa in the hotel in Karon.

Kylie and Bec looked amazing with their hair extensions in, which me and Emma individually curled the night before to save time!

Kylie’s wedding dress was absolutely stunning, as was Bec’s pink bridesmaid dress. Props go to their Mum for the coolest funkiest hair we’ve seen so far!!

Congratulations guys – you were an absolute pleasure to meet and spend time with 🙂 xxx

Pochani and Stephan Wedding Merlin Beach Resort

[slideshow]Congratulations to Pochani and Stephan who got married at the beautiful Merlin Beach Resort!!

Bless Pochani’s little daughter Stella who had been in hospital the day before and wasn’t feeling too well – she stayed in her Mum’s arms during the ceremony.

Pochani’s dress was absolutely stunning with a gorgeous ornate back and stunning shoes. Pochani wanted her lovely long hair down and slightly wavy and her make up quite natural but with enough colour for pictures, and to bring out the fabulousness of her dress design. The dress code for all the guests was all white which really stood out against the backdrop of the wedding beach garden setting.

Gina took some fabulous pictures (ginasmithphotography.com), including some gorgeous ones of Stella and her Mum and Dad 🙂

We hope little Stella is feeling much better and you guys had a fantastic honey moon 🙂 xxx

Kelly and Jac Pre-Wedding Shoot Phuket

Me and Emma had a great day of shooting with Kelly and Jac from Hong Kong who flew over for a pre-wedding photo shoot with Gina (ginasmithphotography.com), as arranged by Karen at Paradiso Wedding Services (paradisowedding.com), who supplied them with beautiful outfits and scheduled their bespoke trip to Thailand, with three different shots with me and Gina, around Phuket.

The first shot was at the Radisson Plaza Resort at Panwa Beach, around the pool and on the beautiful beach. Kelly had her hair up in a neat bun with some pearls and really natural make up.

Kelly and Jac then had a change of outfits and hair and make up and we shot in Phuket Town, around the old colonial-inspired streets and town houses. Some of the architecture in Phuket Town is really stunning and has a very different feel to most of the rest of the island.

We had a quick bite to eat at the lovely China Inn which always does gorgeous Thai food as well as selling stunning antique oriental furniture, before heading off to the Aleenta Resort in Phang Nga, just off the island.

The Aleenta is a stunning resort, the rooms are very different and wonderfully designed with outside infinity pools and an upstairs loft style boudoir.

Gina took some beautiful photos of Kelly and Jac in the grounds, who had made their third and final change.

Me, Gina and Emma then left them to enjoy their time together, and settled ourselves down for a couple of cocktails as we watched the sun go down before heading home 🙂 bliss!!

Jaime and Brad’s Dusit Laguna Wedding Phuket

What a fab day, where can I begin.

Jaime and I had been communicating by email for about 6 months before I finally got to meet her. Jaime had been recommended to me by Trip Advisor, by a couple of lovely brides who had written about me on a wedding hair & make up post, (thanks ladies!) so now I finally I got to meet her in person 🙂

Originally from Oz, but now living in London, we instantly hit it off by having a good old natter about the shops in London, (Oh how I miss you!) Jaime had selected a really beautiful relaxed hair style which she had a picture of and we recreated. Her bridesmaids, Amy & Kylee opted for a simple chic up do with a coordinating Purple Orchid which complemented their dresses.

Jaime & Brad married at the Dusit Laguna Phuket, they had a fabulous villa equipped with a roof top pool, (how lucky are they?!)

Thanks so much Jaime for letting me be a part of your special day. Huge Congratulations to you and Brad!!

Indian Wedding at the JW Marriott Phuket

I’ve just had three fun days of creative hair & make up for an Indian wedding, set in the grounds of the beautiful JW Marriott up at Mai Khao beach, Phuket.

Each day of the three day wedding event had a theme, which was great for hair and make up design as I was able to create colourful make up and hair styles to complement the sarees, which were of course stunning.

On the 22nd Oct we had the evening cocktail function which had a Western theme of Sapphire night. The second day was the evening Mehndi night which had a more Indian theme and was Emerald night. Finally the afternoon of the third day was the wedding ceremony and reception which was an Indian theme again – Jewels of the World – fantastic!

I really enjoyed the three days and being able to observe first hand such a magnificent event – the colour in everyone’s outfits was so inspirational and beautiful and I certainly got to indulge my creative side 🙂 xxx

Model Mayhem Photo Shoot Phuket

I often get contacted quite a lot from a great website called www.modelmayhem.com – Models, Photographers and of course Make Up Artists & Hair Designers from all around the world can arrange and meet up for photo shoots, to combine talents and different inspirations.

It’s a great way to make friends, and once you’re a member, you can create posts and set up travel dates and post shoot requests for models, photographers and make up artists.

Lucky for me I get quite a lot of potential from fellow Mayhem’ites for different photo shoots with various photographers and models.

Fiona Model

This week I was lucky enough to work with a lovely bunch of people from Hong Kong. Terence Geh was the budding photographer, along with Phang & Suwen.

The shoot took place at Trisara Resort in the Surin area, in one of the private villas which are just amazing. Fiona was one of the fab models who flew down from Bangkok for the shoot, she was just amazing.

The pictures turned out really well, and it was great experience. Thanks so much for Terence & Co. for a wonderful day in Phuket and hope to see you very soon!!
