Today I worked on a fashion shoot with designer Noelle Adam for her new and up coming SS11 collection.
We did the shoot at her home here in Phuket with photographer Brent Madison and two models from Bangkok.
Noelle’s collection is absolutely stunning with some breathtaking pieces, amazing maxi dresses and gorgeous bikinis – I was almost more preoccupied with the clothes rather than the make up!
The pictures turned out wonderfully and I was so happy to be a part of this shoot for Noelle xxx
We always love working at SALA and today was no exception, Amanda and Todd were getting married up at SALA and with her 6 bridesmaids, we had our work cut out!
Amanda and the girls were stunning and the bridesmaids opted for a natural side bun and smokey eye make up whilst Amanda went for really soft curls half up and half down, and a more silvery grey smokey eye.
Amanda’s dress was perhaps one of the most stunning we have seen and suited her perfectly, we even had time to get some fantastic pics.

Sherene and her wonderful family and friends had their wedding up at Laguna Chapel.
I had had a trial with Sherene previously so knew exactly what look of hair and make up she was going for.
She wanted soft curls for her hair and bronze, gold, light brown tones for her eyes to just embellish her eyes.
Her hair style went beautifully with her dress and she looked stunning as she walked out the door.
I was lucky enough to have more photo opportunities with Sherene the following day.

We had a wonderful wedding today at the different venue of the Yacht Club on Naiharn beach – a beautiful setting overlooking the bay and ocean.
Yujin wanted very simple natural hair and make up, to complement her dress which was so elegant and sleek – a mermaid shape with crossover plunging neckline.
Her bridesmaids had beautiful coral coloured dresses and we did similar make up to brighten their faces, going for the dewy, fresh faced glow.

Gina and I had a wedding up at Bundarika Resort and Spa today, which is just slightly North of Laguna and South of the Airport, a beautiful new resort which has stunning rooms, a wedding chapel set on the hill over looking the private bay and a quiet beach.
Eliza and I had been in touch for a while and she wanted a really funky hair style and creative make up. She has such long thick beautiful hair, which I wove into a bun/up do style to accentuate the highlights she had in her hair.
She wanted really different make up which looked really good on her and she looked fantastic as she set off to get married. Thanks also to Gina Smith for wonderful photography as always!! xxx
We had a wedding up at the Laguna Chapel today for Yolanda and her lovely bridesmaids, they were all so lovely and chilled out – really sporty and bubbly, we had such a nice day.
The girls had beautiful blue/grey bridesmaids’ dresses and Yolanda’s dress was stunning but so simple and elegant.
They all opted for simple and natural hair and make up – relaxed bun styles and dramatic smokey eyes for the bridesmaids.

Yin chose to have her wedding at the Andara, which was the first wedding held at this venue, so we were very happy to be able to work on it.
Yin had 3 bridesmaids who all wanted elegant, sleek up dos – a naturally pinned but cascading ponytail, which we were able to create. Yin also wanted us to take care of her Mum and Mum in Law.
Yin’s style was also very natural and beautiful, to go with her dress.
Their was a brief family gathering for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony before the wedding ceremony itself, and Em and I stayed on for touch ups to make sure all the girls were ready to go again for the western ceremony outside.
The day was really fun, we had 91.5fm playing in the room and requested a few good songs for the bride and groom from morning DJ Danny O 🙂

Em and I had another wedding today at SALA (http://www.salaresorts.com/phuket) which is such a stunning resort 🙂
Barbara and the girls were so much fun, and Anna and Natalie from Take Us to Thailand (http://takeustothailand.com) so there was a really great atmosphere for the whole day.
Barbara had naturally very curly hair so I prepped the hair using serum and GHDs, before going on to set her hair with loose curls.
Her dress was beautiful and very natural, as was her make up. The girls’ had stunning smokey grey eyes with a tinge of dark purple to make their eyes pop, and natural up dos.
The whole day was really fun and it was a beautiful day and setting for it xxx

I had a beautiful wedding up at the Aleenta, which I love working at, just off the island in Phang Nga, for Nelly and her husband.
Nelly wanted quite classic hair and make up to go with her beautiful dress and stunning surroundings.
Gina and I also had a photo shoot with the couple the day after so they cold get a lot more sought after and more personal pictures.
It was so nice to be included in such a lovely intimate wedding 🙂 xxx
How exciting! As long time veterans and huge long term fans of America’s Next Top Model, Em and I were SO excited when we got asked to work on New Zealand’s Next Top Model – it was all initially hush hush but now we can talk about it as in Episode 9, which aired on Friday the 1st October, the girls found out they were coming to Phuket!!
We had such an amazing time filming the show – the cast, crew, judges and girls were all so lovely and so much fun!!
It was such an incredible experience – a week of really hard work but definitely worth every second 🙂
