Lovely Su and Andrew’s Buddhist Blessing and Western Ceremony

Em and I had a busy weekend – with a super early Buddhist Blessing on the morning of the Saturday and a more traditional Wedding ceremony on the Sunday – such a nice fusion!

Su and Andrew, and most of their bridesmaids were from New York so it was so nice to work amongst that vibe.

The girls were all so lovely and looked absolutely stunning in their long flowing dresses and dramatic make up.

Su’s attire for the traditional Buddhist blessing was also breathtaking and Andrew got to grips with his sarong very well!!

Su had long beautiful hair which we manipulated into two very different flowing natural styles, with natural make up to complete her perfect look ๐Ÿ™‚

Many congratulations to you both

Kara’s Wedding at Sala with Take Us To Thailand

We had such a busy wedding at Sala today with the girls again at Take Us To Thailand.

Lovely Kara had over 7 or so people for hair and make up, including the two little flower girls, so we needed to enlist the help of Jam who Em and I often use as an extra hair stylist when we have such big jobs!

Everything went really well – we took over the salon at the Sala and it was really fun chatting to all of Kara’s family and friends ๐Ÿ™‚

Kara opted for a natural looking grey smokey eye and a natural nude lip and a soft swept up do with some beautiful diamante clips her parents had bought for her – she looked stunning!!

Congratulations ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

Take Us To Thailand Weddings in Samui

I have had such a busy week -I flew to Samui twice for the lovely Take Us To Thailand girls Anna and Natalie (http://www.takeustothailand.com/) for two wonderful weddings over there at Six Senses Resort & Spa (http://www.sixsenses.com/SixSensesSamui/) which was absolutely stunning.

The girls and both wedding parties were absolutely wonderful – congratulations to both Lisa & Rob and Annabel & Thom!!xxx

Sarah’s Wedding at the Holiday Inn

I had a wonderful wedding today with Sarah who was getting married at the Holiday Inn in Patong.

The girls had brought their hairdresser with them as a guest to the wedding so I was taking care of all the make up.

They were all such pretty girls so my job was very easy! The bridesmaids had beautiful dresses in different shades of blue so I did quite nicely defined make up that would complement the colours of their dresses.

Sarah also wanted quite striking make up – light purples, pinks and blended natural tones to make her eyes pop.

All the girls looked absolutely stunning and were lovely – thank you all for a wonderful day ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

Fashion Shoot with Edward from Indonesia

I had a shoot with a photographer from Indonesia this week.

We shot at the beautiful resort – Baan Krating in Naiharn (http://www.baankrating.com/) which has absolutely stunning backdrops and grounds.

We were doing a bikini shoot and I did dark eyes surrounded by blended blues, silvers and highlighting white, a nude lip and backcombed 60s hair.

I wanted to create quite a sophisticated yet chic and natural look.

It was great shooting with Ed (http://edwardchenphotography.com/), he was a fantastic photographer and created some amazing shots xxx

Photo Shoot with Michelle and Troy from Oz

Busy week of shoots!!

Gina [ginasmithphotography.com] and I had a shoot today with Michelle and Troy who had travelled over from Australia.

They wanted some natural, relaxed shots of them both while they were here holidaying in Phuket.

I did Michelle’s make up really natural and subtle as she didn’t usually wear a lot, and styled her hair in a relaxed, romantic up do with a few flowers.

She looked really pretty and her and Troy took some lovely shots xxx

Photo Shoot with Christophe from Paris

Em and I had a photo shoot with a wonderful photographer, Christophe, who was coming from Paris.

He had a really interesting concept for the shoot – he wanted to create a lot of movement in the dress so we shot on Ya Nui beach just before sunset to try and catch good light.

As it is low season, it was quite overcast so we couldn’t shoot for as long as we wanted but I think we got the shots he wanted.

Chris wanted some really interesting eye make up – sweeping bright colour above the lid and below the eye brow.

I created this and styled Emma with some hair extensions into a side pony.

I was really happy with the finished look – it certainly needed a steady hand and some serious patience with some of the materials I was using to create the look.

We also shot the day after – shooting a more natural beachy look in Patong. I styled Em with a natural chignon bun and natural gold and bronzed make up.

The rain held off long enough to get a few good shots ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks to Chris – it was really fantastic working with you xxx

Passion For Fashion at the Andara Resort and Spa

Hot off the trail from getting back from the UK, I was working on a charity fashion show at the Andara Resort and Spa – ‘Passion for Fashion’.

Marisa Zeman, a designer from Hong Kong, was debuting her brand new collection and label ‘Nude is Rude’ at the Andara, in aid of Phuketian charity, the Phuket Has Been Good To Us Foundation.

Emma was modelling in the show and Gina was taking some of the pics.

I did quite a natural but bright and illuminating make up design, to complement the collection which was very breezy and designed for easy wear and comfort with a touch of chic and class.

I did the models’ hair quite beachy and tousled, with a nude pink nail.

The turnout was superb and 91.5FM Phuket Island Radio covered and sponsored the event with DJ Jay LeShark broadcasting his Sunday afternoon show live from the Andara.

I was so happy it was a great success, it was supporting such a fantastic cause and is hopefully the beginning of many similar events to come xxx

Holiday to the UK

Finally managed to get away for 3 weeks to join my lovely husband Mark in England to visit friends and family.

It was such a stress the last few days sorting everything out to go, but got there in the end!

Had a fab time with family friends, wine, dinners, shopping, SHOES, MAC!! London, the country and so on – it was GREAT!

Bought some fab clothes and shoes and heaps of wonderful MAC make up – so excited to put it to work!!

Very strange being back in the UK – I haven’t been back properly for 5 years!

But great to see everyone ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

Saraโ€™s Spanish Wedding at Paresa

Sara was our beautiful bride this Saturday, who got married at one of our favourite resorts on the island – Paresa [http://paresaresorts.com/].

Sara had a beautiful son, Matteo, and was pregnant with her second baby.

She looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown and her fabulous hair looked amazing, naturally curled, with a light make up which really made her features stand out.

The wedding setting was, as always, stunning at Paresa, and the rain held out for the couple, which was fantastic!

It was such a pleasure meeting Sara and her friends and family, they were all so lovely and it was such a fantastic day ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx
