Photo Shoot with Lovely Gail

Hot off the trail of NZNTM, we had a 3 look photo shoot with Gail and lovely Gina.

I styled Gail and her husband with 3 looks in 3 different locations while Emma helped the couple and Gina on set.

Gail looked absolutely beautiful and some stunning outfits which she wore, including her wedding gown.

We shot at Mai Khao beach – at the JW Marriott around the pool. The weather was perfect for the shots – quite overcast but still with enough light.

We stayed with the couple for a quick drink on the beach after which was the perfect end to a wonderful day 🙂 xxx

Carly’s Lovely Wedding at Sala

Em and I had another wedding with the fab girls, Nat and Anna at Take Us To Thailand today (takeustothailand.com).

Carly was getting married at Sala Resort and Spa – one of my favourite Resorts and we had a few people for hair and make up 🙂

At the trial, we’d decided on a soft natural smokey eye with some light golds and browns which really make Carly’s lovely eyes even more beautiful.

She wanted her hair down and loosely curled for the perfect beachy look.

Her dress was absolutely gorgeous and she looked divine 🙂

We especially loved to addition of the beer can in her wedding photos…no more said!! Word to the wise – steer clear of curling irons on the day of your wedding!! All was well in the end though 🙂

Rebecca and Malcolm’s Wedding at Beautiful Paresa!

We had a beautiful wedding today at the lovely Paresa (paresaresorts.com).

Rebecca and Malcolm were SUCH a lovely couple and loads of fun 🙂

Rebecca’s dress was beautiful – very vintage inspired, lace and gorgeous detailing.

Her hair was a simple updo, with a swept forwards fringe and loose bun at the back with the veil.

Gina (ginasmithphotography.com) managed to get some fantastic shots of Rebecca before she went down to the ceremony.

For her make up, we did a slight smokey eye which really made her eyes ‘pop’ in the pictures.

Luckily the rain held out for them and the ceremony was beautiful!

Kok Chang Safari Elephant Shoot

Gina, Em and I had another collaboration today for a shoot with the elephants at Kok Chang Safari in Kata Noi (kokchangsafari.com)

We were shooting with one of Noelle Adam’s designs (noelleadam.com) and I sewed individual orchids onto the dress, to bring out the colour of the make up I was going to use.

We wanted to create a lot of movement whilst Em was on the elephant.

Gina was quite overwhelmed by the sheer size of the elephant which made shooting quite difficult as it had a mind of its own sometimes!!

Highlights of the day were Em receiving an ear bashing, literally, from the elephant whilst on the ground, and Gina stepping in a fresh puddle of wee – ooooopsss!!!! Fun times!!

But we managed and the pictures turned out fantastic 🙂

I used my Temptu Pro airbrush for some dramatic eye make up , and a back comb structured up do for Em’s hair.

We wanted to create a ‘nymph in the woods’ look 🙂

Luxury Events Phuket Wedding at Jivana

Em and I had another fantastic wedding with Jeanette and Cristy at Luxury Events Phuket (http://www.luxuryeventsphuket.com/) at Jivana Villas.

It is so beautiful and peaceful up there – the perfect venue for a fantastic event 🙂

The bride looked absolutely beautiful, her entrance was stunning.

The hair and make up for the wedding party was very classic and natural.

Fan and Hash’s Wedding at Aleenta

Fan and Hash had a wonderful traditional Iranian wedding at the Aleenta. Fan had lots of layers cut into her hair and wanted a very neat and classic up do, which I was able to create after manipulating each layer to ensure it was smooth and neat and there were no fly away pieces 🙂

Her dress was absolutely wonderful and very traditional and classic.

Her Mum and bridesmaids all had their hair and make up done – the girls all had different hair styles and make up to suit their individual complexion and hair cuts.

Fan wanted a really natural look for her eyes and make up so I brought out her features and enhanced her eyes.

Gina was able to take some wonderful pictures of the day, the weather was fantastic and the party all looked fabulous xxx

Therese’s Wedding at Cape Sienna

We had a wonderful wedding today at the beautiful resort, Cape Sienna in Kamala (capesienna.com) with some lovely girls from Oz.

It was a bit touch and go with the weather, but on the day, the rain just about held off.

Therese’s bridesmaids had stunning dresses in a platinum grey colour, and were having orange flowers in their hair. They were all really pretty girls so I wanted to make the most of their features with a sultry smokey grey eye with highlighting tones.

Their up dos were quite relaxed with a few curls to add texture to the hair, and different individual styles from girl to girl.

Therese wanted a romantic up do a la ‘Taylor Swift’ with a flower to the side. Really relaxed fringe at the front and a few messy placed curls at the back.

Therese’s dress was absolutely stunning – quite grecian and very elegant. Her make up was again a subtle grey smokey eye with a touch of blue to bring out here eyes.

The colours, the dresses, the flowers and everything went together perfectly for their special day xxx

Rashmi’s 25th Wedding Anniversary at the Hilton

Me and Em had two jobs today – Tik’s wedding at Paresa and Rashmi’s Anniversary Party at the Hilton. After Em finished Tik’s sisters’ hair at Paresa, she jumped in a taxi to the Hilton Arcadia in Karon to start Rashmi and her daughter who were over from Dubai with a lot of their family, to celebrate Rashmi’s 25th Wedding Anniversary.

Rashmi and her daughter were wearing gorgeous traditional Indian sarees – Rashmi had a beautiful purple and gold one and her daughter had a vibrant saree with turqouise, fuschia and yellow colours – wow!!

Em did her daughter’s hair neat and in side ponytail with loose curls and Rashmi’s hair half up, half down, with a bit of height. Rashmi’s make up was quite natural but with defined eyes and gold/bronzey eye tones.

I then arrived after the renewal ceremony to do a second look for Rashmi – we let the rest of her hair down and gave her eyes a more smokey, night time look, to complement her lovely navy blue dress she was changing in to.

Khun Tik’s Wedding at PARESA

Em and I had a busy day today – a wedding and a wedding anniversary party in the evening.

Our wedding of the day was at the beautiful Paresa (paresaresorts.com) for Khun Tik.

Tik and her bridesmaids had fantastic hair and I created a beautiful romantic side swept up do for her with plenty of cascading curls.

The girls wore beautiful coral coloured bridesmaids’ dresses.

Tik and the girls also wanted natural but highlighting make up and a bright lip. Tik’s dress was absolutely stunning and she looked like a real princess as she set off to marry her fiance.

It was a pleasure as always to work at Paresa and such a lovely day – some of the pictures and set up of everything were absolutely stunning, as you can see!!xxx
