Me and Emma have just been working as the make up artists, hair designers and stylists on a two day photo and commercial shoot with Bestway Inflatables (bestway-global.com), a company based in Shanghai.
We had loads of fun working with Jared and Paul, the directors and producers, Martin the videographer who is based in Samui, and myClip Studios based here in Phuket.
Not forgetting the fantastic models – children cast from the British International School, and models Lorenzo, Saira and Marina from Bangkok.
It was a really great two days – shooting on the beach at Naiharn, the pier in Rawai, BIS itself and a resort in Chalong – me and Emma did our best to not be in the sun too much!
Unfortunately whilst touching up one of the models on the beach, my on-set make up brush belt snapped and all my brushes fell into the sea! I could have cried!! We managed to save them though so now they are soaking to be cleaned- phew!
And Emma wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty – she jumped in the pool to help the crew get their overhead shot of the kids racing on the motor powered inflatable toys…and some people call this work?!
After we all finished and the boys had started some of the editing work, we went out to dinner at Da Vinci’s restaurant here in Naiharn with the crew which was really good fun and great for us all to relax and wind (and cool!) down with a glass or two of wine and great food 🙂
