Well, where to begin – we love Leah!!

Leah’s in-laws have an amazing place at Naiharn Baan Bua which is just around the corner from where we live so we were able to spend some time with her and hubby, Sir SLG while they were here 🙂

We got Leah and her three bridesmaids Trin, Em, Sarah ready at their house – me and Em were still aching from our gym session with Leah a few days previously where she really put us through our paces!! Being a Person Trainer, Physiotherapist, Yoga Instructor, general fitness goddess (Oh how we miss you!).

Never have we had such an organised and efficient bride, everything was planned to perfection! The back of Leah’s dress was absolutely stunning so she had all of her hair up in a neat bun with curls and a bit of height.

We did natural make up but I did a gorgeous pearlescent gold and green eye make up to bring out her lovely eyes which looked stunning with the colour of the dress.

Her bridesmaids had low buns fanned out, with the ends pinned just above and around the bun and a bit of height. The bridesmaids’ dresses were a gorgeous sky blue so their make up was really natural and silvery-pearlescent. Leah’s sister Sarah was also living in London so we reminisced about all the important things – bars, Primark, Oxford Street and the weather!

Leah and Adi got married at Baan Krating which is a fabulous boutique resort here in Naiharn and really green and luscious. She had a few pictures taken at the house before they all left which turned out absolutely beautifully.

We hope you and Adi come back and see us really soon Mrs Grey – you were fabulous and we all miss you (including the cat, Ming Ming!)

We had such a great day today with Lauren and her family, who got married at Le Meridien Resort in Karon.

Lauren was extremely chilled out with everything, despite it being a bit touch and go with the rain, but we kept out fingers crossed for blue skies.

Lauren opted for a gorgeous hair design of cascading curls, slightly bunched at the back with frangipani flowers pinned at random, which really suited her long blonde hair.

Her make up was really natural and brought out the subtle tones in her fabulous dress. We also transformed her lovely Mum, who’s outfit was also fabulous. Her Dad was originally from England so that was a familiar accent for me and Em – and habits; he poured out a couple of vodkas for everyone before the big ‘I Do’ – brilliant, thanks Dad!!

We helped make sure everything was all laid out once we’d made the finishing touches, including the flowers and jewellery, before helping to lace up Lauren into her dress and fit her shoes and veil.

She looked absolutely beautiful – thank you Lauren, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you and your lovely family! xxx

Congratulations to the lovely Katie and Chris who flew over from Hong Kong for their wedding at the JW Marriott at Mai Khao beach 🙂

We brought our lovely assistant Jennifer with us to help us with manicures and pedicures for all the girls, who were pampered to their hearts’ content 🙂

After curling and setting Katie’s hair, we did hair and make up for all of her bridesmaids and Mum and Mum in Law who were all so so lovely and so much fun!!

Emma had fun with one of the bridemaid’s fringes which was super short and refused to stay pinned back – but a bit of our TIGI Hard Head hairspray soon sorted that out! The girls had beautiful bougainvillea flowers in their hair and looked stunning in their burgundy dresses.

After helping Katie and the girls into their dresses, the JW Marriott has some beautiful grounds where Gina (ginasmithphotography.com) could take some amazing pictures of the finished bride and wedding party.

Best of luck with your move back to the US Mr and Mrs Hennessey!! It was an absolute pleasure and we’ll have to come over and visit 🙂 xxx

Back to it – after a brief stint doing the commercial Bestway shoot around Phuket, me and Emma had Melissa’s wedding at the Merlin Beach Resort.

We had our work cut out for the hair and make up with 4 Bridesmaids and 2 Mums’ hair and make up, as well as the lovely Melissa herself of course.

I had already had a trial with Melissa so knew she wanted a really natural beachy hair-do which I thought was absolutely beautiful, such a lovely idea and something really different – it’s been very popular with a lot of brides since.

Her bridesmaids wore fantastic yellow silk dresses and wanted a half up, half down side pony tails with diamante hair pieces and hair extensions, which worked really well with the cut of the dresses and they all looked fab!!

As we put the finishing touches to Melissa and she had some final pictures taken in the room, there were tears in her Dad’s eyes as he saw his daughter transformed into a beautiful lady 🙂 xxx

Isha and Jacques had their wedding today at the Laguna Chapel. It was nice to hear some familiar accents as the couple and party were from London!! Yay.

As the girls were all getting ready and being pampered, we could see the boys down at the beach bar, starting early on the lacquer – the ladies spend hours making themselves look beautiful and the guys just shower and slap on a shirt…that doesn’t seem fair somehow!! But it is much more fun playing with hair and make up 🙂

Isha was really into doing some wedding photography herself so was chatting lots and getting heaps of tips off Gina (ginasmithphotography.com), who we were also lucky enough to be working with again for their wedding 🙂

Emma worked with Gina to get some really great and different shots for the couple – of the multicoloured parasols, the rings and bouquets, and of course the boys!!

Isha’s Mum was all teary as she put her dress and jewellery and a very proud Dad escorted her from the room. Me and Emma stayed to watch the ceremony, and provide some much needed touch ups for all the girls after they’d had some champagne and pictures with Gina…and the Laguna elephant!
